Allison brings over 15 years of experience across K–12, post-secondary education, and the non-profit sector, with deep expertise in college access, financial aid, and scholarship support. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside, and completed a graduate program in Educational Counseling at the University of Southern California. Allison began her career as an academic advisor and program manager with UC Riverside Extension International Programs, where she guided students through academic recovery as well as financial aid eligibility and funding pathways, before transitioning into school counseling in South Los Angeles, where she supported students and families with scholarship searches and college affordability planning. She later held a management role overseeing the hiring and training of educators while strengthening district partnerships and expanding student support services. In 2017, Allison launched her own non-profit and is focused on college access, financial literacy, and educational equity.
