Olivia grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, performing and studying at institutions such as the American Conservatory Theater, California Shakespeare Theater, and various regional theaters in Northern California. When it came time to apply and audition for undergraduate musical theater programs, Olivia took on the process with extreme gusto and attention to detail. She had great success with her applications, receiving multiple full-rides and scholarship offers. Olivia feels passionately about guiding the next generation through this daunting process toward their performing arts goals.
During her time at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music, Olivia studied playwriting, devised theater, and directing alongside her musical theater curriculum. In the process, she uncovered an interest in education and began offering music lessons and audition coaching. She loves showcasing students’ unique talents and perspectives in their audition and application packages.
Because Olivia has been a working professional in the entertainment industry for almost two decades, she is extremely knowledgeable about pursuing the arts in higher education and beyond. Her work as a counselor is driven by a desire to build confidence in young performers and support them through this important step in their careers.
