Alexandra began tutoring as a junior in high school, where she quickly discovered how much she enjoyed helping students build confidence and master new skills. Her passion for education deepened when she earned a scholarship through the Posse Foundation to attend college, where she served as a Peer Mentor in the Career Center. In this role, she worked one-on-one with students to craft strong resumes, CVs, and cover letters, edit scholarship and internship applications, research career opportunities, and write professional networking emails—experiences that honed her ability to provide practical, results-driven guidance.
After graduation, Alexandra expanded her impact by working with a tutoring company, supporting K–12 students across a variety of academic subjects. She then joined The Princeton Review as both an online instructor for classes of up to 20 students and an individual tutor, where she refined her ability to create engaging, personalized instruction for diverse learners.
Through these experiences, Alexandra has developed a versatile approach to tutoring that combines academic support, skill-building, and mentorship. Whether she is helping a student tackle a challenging concept, guiding them through the nuances of professional communication, or creating strategies to reach long-term goals, her focus is on equipping students with the tools to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Passionate about helping students discover their strengths and achieve their goals, Alexandra brings a balance of structure, encouragement, and adaptability to every session. She believes that learning is most effective when it empowers students to not only meet their immediate challenges but also gain the confidence to navigate future ones.
