Jason has worked in the field of public and private education for the past 25+ years. His formative teaching years took place at Brigham Young University's Missionary Training Center where he worked as both an instructor and training coordinator in the Spanish and Portuguese department. He has lived in Argentina and Spain and worked in Puerto Rico. Currently, he teaches high school Spanish and moonlights as an adjunct faculty member at several community colleges (Spanish and English as a Second Language). His passion and unique approach to language acquisition help his students learn and prepare for high-stakes tests such as the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam as well as the AP Spanish Literature and Culture exam. He loves to bring language to life and help students achieve their goals.
- Jason is High School and Dual Enrollment Certified for college-level Spanish.
- He is an AP Reader through the College Board for the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam.
- Jason is the proud parent of 5 boys with his wife, Mira.
- He coaches cross-country running and has competed in several races over the years, including 2 marathons (St. George and Boston).
- He loves to watch and play soccer, especially the Brazilian national team (Jason's wife is from Brazil).
