Yazmeen began her journey in education over 12 years ago when she started her own private tutoring business while she was in high school. What started as a part-time job quickly evolved into a profound and fulfilling career, as she discovered her passion for teaching and helping students navigate their academic challenges. She has tutored students ranging in age from Pre-K to Master’s programs in a wide range of subjects.

In addition to her work as an academic tutor, Yazmeen has a 10+ year track record of helping students achieve scores in the top 95-99th percentile on standardized tests. Her effectiveness in test preparation underscores her deep understanding of not only content and test-taking strategies, but of adapting curriculum to support each of her students’ individual needs.

As a formally trained Level 2 Executive Functioning Coach, Yazmeen is also trained in supporting neurodiverse students, including those with ADHD, OCD, and on the autism spectrum. Her approach for both EF coaching and education integrates structured techniques to enhance organizational skills, time management, and overall academic performance.
